about me
Therapy with me pays homage to all the classics: the evidence-based techniques, the warm & non-judgmental compassion, the deep & real rawness that'd you'd expect from a skilled & experienced counselor.
I'm also not your average therapist.
What's different about me?
Eclecticism is my jam because wisdom is everywhere: from particle physics to Lizzo. I relish curating each counseling experience so it's as unique as the universe that is you.
I'm able to tenderly hold your darkest places & deepest wounds & still (gently & always with permission first) call you on your shit. Because sometimes a ship needs a harbor, sometimes the open ocean.
I bring the curiosity of a mermaid, an abundance of patriarchy - toppling equity, an iota of impishness & a ton of experience navigating stormy seas (like a wise sea turtle).
Evidently, also there will be a lot of ocean metaphors?
If I’m not at work, I’m probably on a forest adventure with my littles, reading postmodern poetry, baking with fancy butter, learning the hard way how to remodel an old farmhouse, or nodding off in savasana.
